  • Active Air Sampling of Viable Microorganisms

This video will demonstrate how to perform active air sampling of viable microorganisms using the impaction method. This method separates particles from the air-stream using a pump to force their deposition onto a solid surface.

This method of Active Air Sampling uses a Buck Bio-Culture pump. It is a bioaerosol sampling pump designed to draw air onto a standard agar plate.
