Dr. Wu has over 20 years of academic and work experience in microbiology and mycology. She earned her Ph.D. from the University of Tennessee, and her M.S. from the Institute of Microbiology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. In 2002, Dr. Wu co-founded AEMTEK, INC. where she currently serves as President and CEO. Dr. Wu’s analytical experiences include detection and enumeration of microbial pathogens, fungal identification, microbial sampling and analysis of environmental samples, water, and food products. Dr. Wu also provides technical consultation in food safety, environmental monitoring, and contamination control and is involved in product research and development. She has published numerous scientific papers and several book chapters as well as given many lectures and presentations on various microbiology subjects at national and international conferences. Dr. Wu has also been awarded the Woman-Owned Business of the Year in Fremont, California, and Enterprising Woman of the Year 2009 by The National Association of Women Business Owners-Silicon Valley.

Dr. Heidi Wright has a Ph.D. degree in Food Science & Technology and Toxicology from Iowa State University where she specialized in research areas related to natural antimicrobials in food and pharmaceutical applications. She also has an M.S in Biological Science with a specialization in Microbiology from South Dakota State University. Her research included extension outreach in food safety training. She has over 12 years of academic and industry experience in the areas of food safety, antimicrobials, and microbiology research, including method development, validation testing, and study designs for challenge and shelf-life studies.
Dr. Heidi Wright has a Ph.D. degree in Food Science & Technology and Toxicology from Iowa State University where she specialized in research areas related to natural antimicrobials in food and pharmaceutical applications. Dr. Han earned her Ph.D. degree in Food Science at Louisiana State University and B.S. degree in Food Science at the China Agricultural University. She has extensive experience working with various food pathogens, such as Salmonella, Vibrio, Campylobacter, and Listeria. Dr. Han has published thirteen peer-reviewed articles in internationally renowned journals and has given many presentations at national conferences. Dr. Han is also an active member of many organizations, including the International Association for Food Protection, the Institute of Food Technologists, and the American Society for Microbiology.

He has a Ph.D. degree in Animal Sciences from Colorado State University, where he specialized in research areas related to foodborne pathogens, molecular biology, and bioinformatics. He also earned an M.S. degree in Animal Sciences from South Dakota State University. Mo has multiple years of research experience working with various foodborne pathogens, such as pathogenic E. coli, Salmonella, and Listeria. Mo is responsible for overseeing the regular food testing at AEMTEK's Modesto lab and supports research projects at AEMTEK.

Dr. Huang has over 30 years of academic and work experience in microbiology and food safety. He has extensive experience covering the following areas: (1) cleaning and sanitation in food and beverage industry, (2) food safety testing and shelf-life solutions, (3) microbial fermentation and process development for production of various microbial products, (4) application of microorganisms in waste treatment, (5) pest control solutions for organic farming.

Jessica is responsible for the marketing outreach, training & events coordination, and new client onboarding here at AEMTEK.
